As the governing body of Dancesport in Selangor, Selangor Dancesport Association (SDSA) takes pride in spearheading the sustained and continuous development of the sport in accordance with the long-standing vision of achieving consistent triumphs on the world stage.

Selangor DanceSport Association (SDSA) is a full member of Malaysia DanceSport Federation (MYDF), also known as Malaysia National Sports Association (NSA) governing all aspects of both Amateur and Professional DanceSport nationwide, either through its Office Bearers, Member bodies and Members or by administrative agreements with other persons and organizations.
SDSA is established independently and registered with the Sports Commission of Malaysia and is officially endorsed and supported by the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Malaysia, Malaysia National Sports Council, Malaysia National Institute of Sports.
On 3rd August 2011 the organization was at first registered at the Malaysia Sports Commissioner Office.

Being a full member of MYDF which is affiliated and supported by the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), DanceSport Asia (DSA) that are respective members of International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), International Professional DanceSport Council (IPDSC) and Asian Professional Dancesport Council (APDC), SDSA is the official DanceSport governing state body in Selangor.
SDSA is formed to encourage and support DanceSport activities in close cooperation and consultation with the above International Federation (IF) and Asian Federation (AF) as stipulated by Malaysia Sports Development Act (1997) and to advance the objectives of SDSA and these organizations in the interest of DanceSport and its following.
Our Vision
Dancesport will be a vibrant and popular sport in Malaysia among the younger generation that contributes towards nation building and social development by reaching out to all Malaysians in its pursuit of glory for the country.
