News | SDSA Recognized by Ministry of Education

Putrajaya | The Selangor DanceSport Association (SDSA) has recently changed a new batch of continue where the previous batch has decided to handover the task to the new group. The new committee had agreed to to applied a recognition with the Ministry of Education to recognize and support the School DanceSport Program run by SDSA.

This is similar to what the Kuala Lumpur DanceSport Association (KLDSA) that has been enforcing since 2016. It is a great cause that can help more school children to expose to DanceSport and get to know the sport better.

One of the major benefit of this endorsement is that school children can know apply and redeem the national co-curricular activity points from their respective State Education Department - Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri (JPN) for any activity organized by SDSA.

The Selangor Students that has competed in overseas competition are also able to redeem their co-curricular points from MOE with the endorsement of this program. However, terms and conditions were applied. All application must be submitted through SDSA.
